INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION
Hi There!!  My name is Sara Walton and I am the founder of Soul Light Yoga.  Thanks so much for reading my biography.  I have been working hard over the last several years to get the qualifications in order to help as many people as I can along their path to wellness. 
I have a 225 hour Yoga Teacher certification that meets Yoga Alliance standards ( www.yogaalliance.org ) and have practiced yoga for over 11 years.  I have been helping others achieve their personal goals for the last 7 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Nutraceuticals and I'm continually educating myself in the field of Health and Wellness.   I also have my Reiki, Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer Certification. 
Teaching yoga was a dream for me since partaking in my first real yoga class in 1996.  While travelling in Thailand in 2006, I attended a Buddhist Meditation for 3 days.  It was here that I was given the opportunity to teach my very first yoga class.  Upon returning to Canada, I enrolled at Balanced Life Yoga Studio in Uxbridge, ON where my teacher, Shasta Townsend, helped lead me in completing the 225 hour yoga teacher training.  I have since done some further training in both Canada and India with teachers such as Seane Corne and David Swanson.  
My yogic journey has lead me down a different, very exciting road to starting SAY Adventure, a surf, yoga and travel company to various locations around the world.  www.SayAdventure.com
